SLC keyswitch

Hi again, customer has a SLC 5/04. What happens when you power up the PLC with the keyswitch in the PROG position and then after several seconds, turn it to RUN? I used to be under the impression that it would re-load the program from EEPROM to RAM but now I am not so sure. Thanx in advance.

If an EEPROM is installed, when it loads is configurable.
Look at the MemModule tab on the Processor status.

I could have sworn (from years ago) that if the machine got hung up, you could reset it somehow by doing this.

It clears the fault if possible but doesn't necessarily reload the eeprom.
