Surge protection before a 24 VDC source.

A little more confirmation:

54609 - CompactLogix processors: Lost program in their memory.
Access Level: Everyone
 
Having said that, could you share more details on how you implement it? Schematics, part numbers and some photos will be greatly appreciated.

The PDF I posted in my post #7 shows just that.

Don't forget AC coils also produce inductive spikes.
