I'm trying to set up a tag on TIA portal v15 that will allow the operator to enter a day and time that will act as a setpoint for a sequence to begin.

I just need the operator to have the ability to select each of the following from a drop down: Day/hour/minute, and then write that value to a date and time tag in the PLC (1500) where it will then be compared against CPU's time from the RD_SYS_T.

Is there a way to create separate tags for the day/hour/minute and then combine them all into one date and time tag?

Thanks for the insight, it looks like the DTL data type is exactly what I'm looking for. I kept trying to work with the date and time data type and couldn't seem to get anywhere.
