I am trying to troubleshoot the root cause of some starting up issue with a AC drive. The plc is an Allen Bradley SLC 5/03 I HAVE AN EXISTING FILE IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME IN DOWNLOADING A FEEDER TO READ THE RSS FILE
The *.RSS extension in this case means "Rockwell Software SLC-500". That file extension comes from several years before Really Simply Syndication was developed and is unrelated to the Internet syndication protocol.
The software to open and read (and go online and troubleshoot) that controller is called RSLogix 500. It's moderately expensive and requires some basic industrial controller experience in order to go online and troubleshoot the system.
If you can ZIP and post the *.RSS file, Forum members would be happy to print it out in PDF format for you so you can read through the program logic.
I have a .rss file and cannot read the logic. I hope someone will help me by processing the file into something I can read. I read it would be a .pdf file.
I have attached a .zip file holding the .rss file.
Let me thank you in advance for your help!

What kind of issue are you having with the drive? I assume that you are talking about an AC variable speed drive? What kind is it? What is the control interface?
BB07, maybe after a year he may have found the problem and like so many who the good people of this forum help, never come back and pass on to others what the issue was.
