I'm having trouble getting my activations to go through to the VM.

Host machine is Windows 10 64 bit
Virtual machine is Windows 7 32 bit

VirtualBox Adapter 1:
Attached to: Bridged Adapter
Name: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (5) I219-LM
Adapter Type: Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop (82540EM)
Promiscuous Mode: Allow All
Cable Connected: Checked

I can ping both the host from the virtual and virtual from the host.
Path to Activations is my host computer name on the VM. I've tried an IP address too with no success.
Host machine has 'Run Network Server' checked.

I've tried host-only adapters also with no success.
Windows firewall inside the VM is off. My company's IT dept dictates the host firewall.

Any suggestions?

Does this setup work with a non-VM FTView?

It sounds like you are doing it right.

I have had problems with the a version mis-match between the License server and the FTView client. You should be able to figure that out if you use a non-VM and it still does not work.

We also had some fun with the FTView connection to the SQL server.

I take it that you don't have tech support from Rockwell? They have specialists that do nothing else besides this sort of thing.

Do your programming terminals connect properly to the license server and get their license properly?
