Have a C600 Panelview that the display went out in it. It still has the configuration in it and the equipment is still running. Believe it is just a back light out.

Apparently these are now obsolete and the replacement that is recommended is the Panelview 800. I have a part no. 2711R-T7T.
My question is.... can the program be copied off the old unit and just loaded in to the newer one.

What is involved in that? The C600 used a web-based configuration software for building screens and the newer one uses Connected Components.

Is the program transferable?
Thanks

I went through this a couple years ago converting a C400 to a 2711R-T4T. As I recall I was able to copy the existing application off, import it into Connected Components Workbench, change the selected terminal to the new model, and then download. Not quite as straightforward as just loading your existing program into the new terminal, but I don't remember having any major problems.

You may have some issues due to the screen size changing (6-inch C600 to 7-inch T7T model).
