I am trying to locate a copy of Modsoft in order to program an older an AEG module. Unfortunately Proworx is not functioning correctly in order to program settings to the unit.

WOW. Last time I used Modsoft, it was loaded off floppies and ran in DOS mode on XP, and I needed to have an old motherboard since it controlled the UART directly and would not use the 'new' UARTs that had a FIFO for buffering. Do you have a VM that you can load it onto if you find a copy?

Modsoft is obsolute and you need real dos computer that online connection works. VMware won't work as serial port is used differently on windows programs than on real dos.


But have you searched modsoft from plctalk?

How you Peter have configured dosbox that serial connection works for modsoft.
I have tryed it with several different cycle speed and serial settings.

Modsoft online connection is working only couple second before timeout errors, no matter what settings I have maded or changed to dosbox configuration file.
