Hi,

The system i am designing consists of a serial RS 232 based device that needs to be connected to a PLC via Ethernet I/P, for this I use a compatible Anybus gateway. The serial device is able to interface with the gateway (subnetwork side), and there is no problem this side.

However now I would like to prepare a small PLC based demonstration system consisting of the serial device and the gateway, but since I do not have a PLC, I would like to use PC with a PLC simulator running a small program

The program need to be small, and would be used to demonstrate the salient points of the system.

Please could anyone suggest a suitable software that can do the above job.

I have RSlogix Emulate 500, RSlogix Micro Starter Lite, could these be used for the above purpose ??

Please suggest

thanks
a
