Archestra Graphic Disappeared (graphic editor opens empty)

Got myself into a bit of a jam this AM. Somehow the graphic editor hiccupped and when I went back into my graphic, everything was gone. I restarted the IDE, and even rebooted, but it's gone. Fortunately for now, the deployed object and InTouch app are unaffected because I haven't redeployed the InTouch app, but it does show pending changes.
I tried to upload runtime changes from it, but get this message: InTouchViewApp_001_004:Object is in pending update or software upgrade needed state.
Is there any way to recover this graphic? Can I locate that particular graphic on the deployed HMI and copy it back to the IDE somehow?

EDIT: In the deployed folder, I found the graphic .vedef file and when opening it in notepad, it contains all the things from that graphic; but is there a way to get this back into the galaxy?

I would contact support and see if they can assist you, but otherwise, try a right-click on the symbol or object and click "Validate". Validate is usually what resolves System Platform object or symbol issues for me.

Hello phuz, the same thing just happended to me yesterday !!
I also found my files as .aaDisplay and .vedef in the deployed folder, have you had any luck on your side?

I did not find a solution to this and I ended up re-creating the graphic. Makes a good case for regular backups!

Hi again phuz, unfortunately we didn't find any way to restore the image from the actual runtime or using the files .aaDisplay and .vedef.
We'll have to use an old backup of the project to extract the graphic OR maybe restore a snapshot of our server if it is recent enough.
