Keyence SR-X300 to Micrologix 1400

Hey all, first time poster here.

I am wondering if anyone has tried using a Keyence SR-X300 barcode scanner to a Micrologix 1400.

Keyence sent sample code for RSLogix500 that I have attached in a screenshot. The issue I am having is when the rung two is executed the MSG instruction errors out. In the error screenshot you can see the error is "Error code (in upper byte of MGx:y.22) was returned by Comms module or CIP device" when I monitor this byte I get the code 1F as shown in the screenshot which Rockwell says in vendor specific.

I also attached what Keyence has given me as an explanation for what the rung is doing, but is not providing any information on errors.

Has anyone had success reading from a SR-X300 to a Micrologix 1400? Would anyone have any advice on what to try/which direction I should go to help solve the error issue?

Is there a link to its documentation? What is MG21 & MG22? which is to trigger or to read?

I'm going from memory here but, isn't the data files 'fixed' in a ML1400?

EDIT: Just looked at the manual. 9-255 are available for N memory.

If N27:0 is available, do you have it defined for N27:0 through N27:50, at least? (100 Bytes)

IMO , 100 bytes is not enough, by default the input was 172 bytes.
400 bytes is what was recommended.
Any progress or link to the Keyence's documentation that was shown here?

You should probably use Get Single Attribute with CIA = 69,1,70
