Panelview plus

Hi,

We had two machines with AB HMI -Panelview plus and Siemens S71200 PLC. one of the machines HMI stopped working and all memory was erased so I just took a backup from the other machine via transfer utility and restored the .mer file . But it is not communicating and an error message says could not find the siemens ethernet tcp/ip device driver. Any suggestions or comments please?

Try to go to the configuration hmi screen look through terminal settings and communications and see if the driver is seen there and which ip address is set. Make sure the ip address matches the controller of the current machine, as it probably is looking for the ip address of the one you copied from.

I have checkef and there is no driver or ip address. How to get the driver and install on this hmi
