Prosoft Communication

Hi all, I have a A4 chassis to use with 1756-L81E and MVI56E-MNETC Prosoft module. Slot 0 is 1756-L81E, and Slot 1 is MVI56E-MNETC.

I am currently trying to communicate with modsim-64 trial version installed in my PC. I Believe I have done configuring the ProSoft correctly. Connected and downloaded the Prosoft builder file into it. Both my processor and ProSoft module seems to be fine looking at the module status. RSLinx looks fine as well. I could see these two modules online.

Add on instruction is imported to my ladder logic from ProSoft website. But still can't read or write data from controller tags to modsim-64 or vice versa.

As I recall there is an enable bit that needs to be set in the MNETC.
Have you connected using the builder software and viewed the module status in realtime? There might be some answers there.
I have one running a few feet away so if you need a specific thing looked at I can connect and look.

Second this. I haven't used this particular ProSoft module, but the Profibus version requires logic to set an enable to communicate.
