When talking water / waste water can someone explain to me what a well site is and how it's used? Is it used on the clean water or waste water side?

I worked for a water utility in southern Nevada. There were a lot of wells. They are indeed raw water and have to have a disinfection system incorporated at the discharge into the system. In the winter or off season for demand, water from Lake Mead (our system) was pumped down into the wells in a 'recharge' operation. There were laws under the Safe Drinking Water Act that dealt specifically with well systems. If there were more than like 30 people on a well, then it was considered a public system and not a private well, and needed all the business for disinfection. When talking water / waste water can someone explain to me what a well site is and how it's used? To put it simply and probably the most accurate, would be a clean water supply. If on the dirty water side, would most likely be an effluent drain of some sorts. When talking water / waste water can someone explain to me what a well site is and how it's used? I dunno know if you understand what this thread is about, but I would suggest starting a new one. Most likely could get decent responses.I need View attachment 75829

10-4 on the eye candy. We have many wells up here in Michigan. My water supply comes from 5 or so super wells, but the water is crappy due to the rotting dinosaurs and vegetation down below. All I can say is its wet, you can wash your vehicle from it and water plants, but it is horrible for drinking. That's why everyone and their brother's sell water up here.
It stinks so bad, that when you do laundry, despite your efforts to tame it down, it still stinks. (you smell like an old person)
The good news is I'm not paying $24/week going to the laundry mat around the corner. Albeit, some of the Amish gals were pretty cute, but couldn't understand one word from the Asian gals.
Even there, fresh laundry still smelled.
Does anyone have an example P&ID they could share for raw water / fresh water well or waste water well injection site that they could share? I am coming up short trying to find some good P&ID examples of those online.
