I am struggling with a Yaskawa GA500 drive unit that I inherited. The unit is driving a pail emptying pump used in one of our dispensing stations. The PLC monitors the ready signal from the unit and will send a command to start when the pressure in the system is lower than a set threshold. The unit itself monitors a pressure sensor at the outlet and will shut off if the pressure goes too high. The unit also monitors low level and empty sensors to give warnings to the PLC.

For some reason, the drive itself isn't connected to any E-stops. There isn't an E-Stop on the pail emptying system itself (which we purchased from a third party) and there aren't safety signals coming from the safety PLC.

So far, I have wired up safety outputs at the safety PLC to the GA500 drive (H1 and H2 signals). When I trigger an E-stop at the dispenser controlled then the drive will stop (as it should). The problem is the ready signal from the GA500 (terminal C1) is still on. How can I configure the output from terminal C1 to turn off when the GA500 drive is disabled using the safety inputs (H1 and H2)?

I have confirmed that the drive is configured using the DriveWorksEZ software. There is some logic inside the drive but I am not able to see it without the original file. Looks like I have to contact the manufacturer.
