Hi people

Can anyone help me ?

I have a pt100 temp probe giving me an output of 4-20mA. This is going into an analog input card IF4 on a Micrologix 1500 PLC. The input is set to raw and at 27 degrees the analog value is 16540. At 12 degrees the analog value is 14390.
Is raw the best setting for this pt100?.
How do i scale these values to tell me the room temperature in degrees celsius?

Use the SCP (scale with Parameters) function. Just enter in the min and max raw counts and the min and max scaled values, the PLC will take care of the rest.

The IF4 parameters is true for ML1200.I am not sure they valid for ML1500,Check it before.
