After searching for awhile for obvious answers... I want to be able to provide software change control. The whole project name change process makes me want to eliminate that route as far as date stamping the runtime file name. Does anyone know how to go about automatically inserting a date when the runtime file (*.mer) is compiled? Best case scenario would write a string containing the date the runtime was compiled to an area on a display screen. I've looked into activex controls, etc., but nothing has yet caught my eye. The date would obviously have to remain static after the runtime is created. Alternatively, is there an easy way to tell, through the HMI, when the .mer was uploaded? FYI Panelview+ 1250 is the panel used. Any help is appreciated.
