I have in hand a Giddings & Lewis MachineMate hardware/software manual for a couple of days.
This G&L is a PLC controller, if you have a Q, I may be able to give you an A.

Also an Amada 04P-C 1996 manual - same deal.

I'm writing more trouble-shooting info into my Punch Wizard manual.

The G&L is a PLC - make unknown but the programming examples are in RLL, ST and SFC?

It's more like C than anything I've seen.

Rod (The CNC dude)

RLL = Relay Ladder Logic
ST = State (best guess)
SFC = Sequential Function Code

So it probably does look a lot like "C".
