Hi All

I presently run on Win 98 and Win NTsp4 on two laptops

The laptops are getting old and as with all things i feel i must progress

So should i run my AB software on Win XP (sp1 or 2) or Win 2K sp 4?

i use

Rs Linx Gateway latest
Rslogix 500,5, 5000 latest
Panelbuilder 32 and panelbuilder for the enhaced range (latest)

RSTune Latest
RS View 32 Latest

RS Devicenetwox Latest

Any Problems i should be aware of ?

Should i go XP or 2K ?

I run all that you mentioned on XP SP1 with no hassles.
The hassles with XP SP2 are supposed to be caused by the default security settings, which can be modified according to the AB knowledgebase.
Personally, I feel no pressing need to move to SP2.
