What's the difference between S7-300 and S5-95. Why is it better to choose S7-300 instead of S5-95?
What are the advantages?

Best regards

Bjorn.

They're from different families. S7 is the successor to the S5 series.

The best reason to me is that the S5 series are obsolete. You can no longer get S5 for new projects. You can still get S5 stuff for replacement and repair, but only till 2012.

How about the possibilities of an S5-135U (almost) for the price of an S5-100U? Even the smallest S7-300 has the possibility to use floating point math.

Kind regards,
