I have a VRP 2000 crdit card printer made by verifone. It has an 8 pin connector that says rs232 can this be used as a receipt printer on my PC? Any help would be appreciated.

i can tell you what will not work

Try a generic printer as a driver (if you printing from Windows) and conectit to your serial port 1 if you choose COM1 etc.

I have tried some other manufacturers and it works.

To have a special formatting is more complicated.
