I am hoping some of you guys may be able to help me here.
I have a CQM1 PLC 24VDC power supply and a hand full of sensors and lamps. I want to start training on the PLC. I do know how and why a PLC works and also how to wire one to I/P's & O/P's, I orig trained as electronics tech in UK, just before the courses started teaching PLC's (just my luck).
First of all I know I need a programming cable, pin out is easy, but what I need to know is what software do I need to program this PLC.
I also need a few sample programs to get me going, the first step is always the hardest. Sample programs like turning O/P one after a I/P is triggered, timers, delays etc.
This PLC has sat for over two years since I rescued it from a scrap machine, the PLC is in perfect working order as are all the sensors and PSU. Its taking up space in my closet hoping to get it running so my G/F starts smiling again......
