hello there......
need help...

any body know how to connect an encoder with PLC?????
i'm using autonics encoder with 100 pulse and PLC Twido with 6 input and 4 output.
what i need and how to connect that....
i'm still new in this field.....
thanks

First you need to know what the maximum frequency is you are going to measure with that encoder!

Second you need a PLC with a fast counter input which is capable of detecting and counting the pulses of you encoder!

End third, you need to write a user program to handle what you wants to do!

What concerns the Twido PLC. Some type have fast counter inputs, up to 20kHz!
