completely new to the scadapak system..using iec1131-3..can anyone help?

If you are talking about Controlmicrosystems SCADAPACK PLC's they do have some sample programs here ( I have not used this programming language myself, only ladder logic)

In my experience Control MicroSystems has excellent tech support and very thorough documentation. I suggest you read the manuals, start programming, and if you hit a big snag give them a call.

I'll second that with a capitol EXCELLENT ( no I don't work for them, although I would like to )
