I'm sure one of you fellow freaks know what I need.

I have a NAiS PLC with FP2-C1 CPU. I need the programming software for this. The sites all show FPWIN Pro or FPWIN GR software will work. What's the difference. None of the websites I saw for this stuff www.pewa.panasonic.com tells me. I thought I would ask someone with experience with this stuff.

FROM AN AB DUDE

It depends what you want. FPWIN-GR is for ladder programming and diagnostics. It's functional, if a bit quirky. The FP series ladder logic is not much like the AB ladder that I assume you are familiar with.

FPWIN-PRO supports the 5 languages specified by IEC-1131, but is still a little quirky as compared to AB.

Of course, FPWIN-PRO is also more expensive.

Did you look at the catalog pages for NAIS PLC's here?
