I am trying to simulate my software using s7-plcsim (v5.2)
I have a hardware configuration:

1x S7 317F-2DP with both ports configured to profibus DP.

But if I try to download the blocks I get the following message:

Unable to reach the module CPU317F-2 via the online interface.

How to fix this?
 
PLCSIM requires an MPI port to be configured on the target CPU so you will need to change your h/w config for simulation purposes.
