Hi,

I am trying to find info on the termintation and speed of a DH 485 network.

I am using the 1761-NET-AIC. The connections look the same as devicenet but I can't find and info on the size of resistor's that I need.

In the DH 485 user manual it says to connect terminal "A" to the "term" pin to terminate the network...Is this replaces a teminating resistor?

Does anyone know the bps of DH 485....is it configurable?

Grrrrr....to the knowledgebase @ AB.

Hello Thomas.

DH485 is 9600 or 19200 baud.

There is a resistor built into each link coupler. That is why you only have to put a jumper between terminals 5-6.
Remember that one of the end link couplers must have a jumper between terminals 1-2. This ties the DH485 to ground.

edit: Actually the above applies to a 1747-AIC.
I assume, but am not 100% sure that it also applies to a 1761-NET-AIC.
