Twido PLC

Has anybody else had any trouble with connecting your PC to these? I have had 3 instances to date in which my PC refused to connect, and the only solution was to send it back for warranty replacement. This has happened twice with the Compact style and once with the Modular style. In fact, the warranty replacement that Schneider sent for the first Compact also had to be sent back. I have to go to any Twido job equipped with a spare due to this.

The comm cable TSXPCX 1031 has changeable positions.

"Other" pos is for Modbus.

That problem turned out to be related to the firmware version of the Twido being incompatible with my version of TwidoSoft. There was a newer version of the software at the time that was not coming up as available on the Schneider website, though it is now. My local Schneider liason helped me get it all straightened out.

I don't use the cable TSXPCX1031. I use the older serial port cable.
