Tool Changer BCD

I have a 8 position tool changer on a machine and
I need to compare the two sets of BCD inputs
and if they are the same turn on one output and
if they are not the same turn on a different one
Do I have to convert each BCD to a BIN then compare?

If both are BCD they will compare the same as if they are both binary. It's only if they aren't the same that you can run into trouble.
