why do exclamation marks appear on my parker ctc screen being fed by a modicon momentum. I'm using bridge tees and everything looks ok. I don't know what else to look for.

You are not communicating with the PLC. What's changed did you modify a program, troubleshooting a working screen or a new project from scratch.

When you say bridged tees... are we talking ethernet? If so are there any switchs or hubs that could have been taken out by lightning etc. I would test the cable if it checks out. Test your ports to the plc and ctc.

Modbus plus tees.
It seems like I checked everything.
resistance from one side of the tee to the other.
continuity between the ctc screen and the plc(cable)
