Hi everyone,

after making simple address changes to a 317-F PN/DP processor (and it's two ET200S I/O blocks) to match customer's network, CPU won't run anymore!? Consistency check in HW config passes, addresses are ok (only changed 192.168.133.x to 192.168.4.x on all three nodes) and the reported error is:

Event 1 of 100: Event ID 16# 5969

Parameter assignment error with startup obstacle for PROFInet consistency assurance

Error type: Error reading the block

No relevance for user (Z1): SDB-Typ: 3302 SDB-Nr: 0

operating mode: STARTUP (warm restart)

External error, Incoming event

03:03:56.861 PM 08/23/2007

Any ideas?

I've seen similar types of problems on a different processor (315-2DP)cured by recompiling the hardware configuration and downloading just the recompiled hardware configuration to the processor. Sometimes I think the SDBs get lost or a little confused on the processor.
