Not sure about my terminology, so I apologise if i'm wrong.

I have a Pv1000 connected to a controllogix 5550 CPU via RIO.
Can I program the CPU via the 232 port on the PV or is the other way round (program Pv thru cpu or is it possible to do both?)
If so are there any special problems i should look out for. Drivers ect.

Im use to accessing Mitsubishi plcs in transparent mode thru beijer E terminals and wondered if i could do the same.

Thanks.
