stepper motor control

Hello

I can not remember who makes the card i need. I am looking for a card for an ab micro logix 1500 that can control 4 stepper motor. i just cant remember where i seen it. can someone refresh my memory?

yes i did see that card it only controls one stepper motor, i was looking for something that has 4 output.

Does it HAVE to be Allen-Bradley?
AMCI charges in the region of $1000 for each single axis stepper card.
The OMRON 4 Axis motion card on a CJ1M would be just fine, probably 1/4 of the cost. The CP1H also offers 4 Axes Stepper control in an even more compact package!!
Depending on the complexity of your application you should take a look at these products.

And NO I do not work for OMRON!!
Just SICK and TIRED of the inflated pricing from AB and their partners. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!

Yep....the pricing is terible.....worse yet is there catolog....for example build a pannel contacts come in boxes of 10... contact bases packs of five.....push buttons sold each.....now what do you do if you need just 1???????

Like most everything else...Make friends with you local dealer!

As for the prices, yea they are significant. But thinking back, I have been installing them since about 1980, and I have never yet had to fix one that was broke!

Never will believe!
You probably never had to, but all end users I know stock spares for all (and I mean ALL) AB hardware used in their machines. And consume them quite well.
