DF1 is an RS232 protocol
DH+ is Data Highway plus (proprietary high speed blue hose)
DH485 is another {RS485 protocol}
controlnet is a high speed coaxial communication protocol
These are four common protocols AB uses in PLCs. There are more but these are common.
