Pv+1500 Macro Error

PV+1500 Application,approx 6 months old has been working fine.
PV is now showing an internally generated message "unable to read expression" Macro1 [Macro].

The data for the expression part of the macro comes from a "String input enable object" writing to an internal PV tag.The tag part of the macro resides in a CLX PLC.

Any help appreciated.
