Connect SLC5/03 to DH+

Has anyone used the Datalink DL3500-DH+/DF1 to connect a 5/03 to their DH+? I'm looking for a cost effective means of getting this machine online with the rest of the plant.
Is the 1770-KF2 a better route to take? I've seen used boxes on E-Bay fairly cheap.
How does the set up time and ease compare?

It may not be the most cost effective but if you can swap to a 5/04 you'll save yourself a lot of grief.

I would have to agree with Matt because the cost of an interface module runs about the same, if not more than picking up a 5/04 on Ebsy.
