difference between protool and wincc????

what is actually the difference between protool and wincc???? im just anew comer to this field.

1. About 2Gigs of Space on your HD
2. About 1 Gig of RAM
3. WinCC is Way less User Friendly (Siemens would argue this point)
4. WinCC slows down your PC, while Protool does not Siemens contract is required for WinCC....You will need it. TRUST ME!!
5. Do you see where this is headed?

My advice is.....stay away unless you have to!
I had to walk away from a project due to inconsistencies with the software....

The panels are great though......Protool was awesome.

I still feel protool easier than WinCC, Cause programming OP's and using PC as HMI (Runtime) is far more easier.
