Added an additional Omron PLC to "Ethernet, Protocol 1 Fins Master and I lost communications to the 1st PLC. I unplug PLC 2 and PLC 1 comes back. The PLCs have different IP addresses.

IP address HMI xxx.xxx.xxx.92
IP address PLC1 xxx.xxx.xxx.91
IP address PLC2 xxx.xxx.xxx.93

PLC1 setup
Network 0 0
Node 91 92
Unit 0 0

PLC2 setup
Network 0 0
Node 93 92
Unit 0 0

My guess is that I need to specify a unit number but I'm not really sure what #'s to use. I didn't find anything in the manual to help clarify this. I'm open to suggestions..
Thanks

You have 2 options when communicating to multiple Omron PLCs on Ethernet.

1. Click on each device and set the Link Type to Shared Socket.
2. Put each PLC on its own protocol.

Dan
