RS232 sending data

Hi,

I have a FX2N, F930GOT and Zebra printer. The plc is connected to F930GOT through RS422 and the zebra through RS232.
I need to send instruction with parameters to zebra through rs232, but don't know how.
Using GXdeveloper 8 and GTdesigner2.

Please advise.

Did this some time ago but as not in the office at the moment cannot locate the info, however if you log onto the mitsubishi website http://www.mitsubishi-automation.co.uk/
There you will find the manuals, you don't mention what 232 inter face is it 232BD or 232 IF.
In most cases you use the to & from instructions.

PLC(Mini-Din connector) is connected to F930GOT via RS422 on GOT side.
Then zebra is connected to F930GOT via RS-232C connector on GOT side.

PLC doesn't have any rs232 module, only I/O. The data has to be send from the RS232 on F930GOT

This could be difficult I know the E series have a dual driver capabillity i.e. you can use 422 port for plc comms & pass data through the 232 on another protocol the best solution would probably be to install a 232BD card in the plc these are only about £90.00 you can write any data to/from plc via data memories,
