9300-8edm

Anyone know what the 9300-8EDM is used for? It says it is a diagnostics module but it liiks like a switch.

We just got one on a new piece of equipment.

The machine has a stratix 8000 switch so i do not know how this is being used.

Anyone used one before?

The 9300-8EDM is a switch, just one with CIP diagnostic objects embedded in it.

These devices had a 9300 series part number when they were a special product; they are called Stratix 6000 now.
