Can anyone explain how to use search feature?

Hi guys,

I am trying to look for threads that contain the following words "rate of change". I want to search for that 3 word combination, not individual words.

have tried rate+of+change
'rate of change'
"rate of change"
rate&change

its not working for me. I checked the FAQ and cant find any help.

Iget plenty of rate threads in the search results, and change threads. I would like to see 'rate of change' threads etc

Anyone got a tip for me?
