Excuse me for my ignorance, but does any body know the proper way do export an I/O list from PLC5 to Excel. With only the Inputs and Outputs including Analog. What I am trying to do is paste a printed copy to the inside of the door of the control cabinets so that our Mechanics dont have to run upstairs every time they need to find an I/O point during a trouble call.

Thanks

I have different version on this PC, but here it is:

Tools menu -> Database -> ASCII Export.
Select CSV format.

CSV format can be read into excel.

Delete all references you don't need like timers, counters, and B bits.
