Wincc problem

I am new in wincc2008 but i know plc s7
To Learn it i make a small program take an input db1.dbx0.0 then give an output db1.dbx0.1 and it works from plcsim.
I make a project with touch 170 to make switch with tag db1.dbx0.0 and it works by runtime simulator. but no communication between PLC & WinCC?
