The difference between 2 Stegmann Encoders

We had a new lenze motor come in with a different Stegmann encoder than the one that we replaced. We kept getting a P14 Following Error till we replaced with the previous encoder. Would any of you know what the difference may be in these 2
encoders.

SRM 64 - HZKO - S03 and a SRM 64 - HRKO - K01

Stegmann's website is somewhat vague.

SRM64 : absolute multiturn encoder, hollow-shaft
SRM 64 - HZKO - S03 Some information available on Chinese sights, for –S02 and –S01. Nothing on –S03

I presume that the obvious of 'ask lenze" is not working out?

I ask Lenze in Uxbridge , MA. before I posted and they don't know either. Even Stegmann in the US does not know and has not returned
with any information.
