Zelio Logic to PC communication usig GMS modem

Hi, Im trying to connect a PC to a Zelio using GSM modems, instead of using the USB cable to update program and change variables.
I have set up the program with ZelioSoft 2, and coded so that the zelio sends an SMS alarm when a combination of two buttons in front of the PLC is pressed, and this works just fine. I have tried to connect both of the modems to pc with hyperterminal and using AT commands i can call my mobile phone. from this i guess the modems are correctly installed. But when i try using Zeliosoft2 to connect to PLC it just says "connecting" and nothing happens, (both modems are set to autoanswer), untill after about 1 minute it says "disconnected". When i try to useZelio Logic alarm to try and catch the alarm when pressing said butting nothing happens it just scans for incomming alarms. Also when i use modems to make a PC-to-PC connection using hyperterminal, i can make a call from one pc to the other and when hyperterminal autoanswers i get the response "+wind:9". Is there a way i can send tekst from hyperterminal to hyperterminal to see if thing are really OK? I have called the GSM SIM providers and they tell me the SIM card are able to send and recieve data calls. Is there something i am missing since this wont work?

Set up:
Modem set up with AT commands:
AT+ICF=5,1 ;+IPR=115200 ; E0 ; &S0 ;&W

Baud:115200
bits:7
parity:even
Stoppbit:1
hardware accell:none


in Zeliosoft2:
PC-side modem is set to Zelio logic alarm.
All phone numbers are in international format.

I have used quite alot of time on this and i just cant seem to get this working, any help would be grately appreciated.

Sorry can't really help you as I only have one gsm modem at the moment.
Have a manual for the Sr2com01 and for the schneider modem that I got from another member here last week if they are of any use to you.

P.S is the alarm software a separate package to the zelio programming software.

pm me ur e-mail. Will send it to you. I havent really used zelio alarm software but have succesfully connected to other zelio's via the normal zelio soft. What i have noticed is signal strength is a big factor in trying to connect and debug remotely. poor signal= very very slow monitoring

1 SR2 COM01 + a GSM Modem SR2 MOD02

as well as

yes they are the same!

My problem is that I want to program the first Zelio to change the state of a coil in the 2nd Zelio (by sending itshelf a kind of message through the GSM Modems). is that possible???
I tried hard!

I can change the state of coils if I send a message from my mobile, but that's not what exactly i wanna do!

Please help!!! Thank you very much in advance!

Ok, let me reply to me!
I was just informed that I can not do such configuration because it's the type of sms that is sent from the gsm modem which includes a header that cannot be removed so it could not give an orded to the other plc.
The sollution is that someone could add a third plc (modicon+gsm modem) that it could play the master role which will receive sms messages from the other 2 slaves as well it could give orders!
Just share all these in case someone else needs something similar!

turns out i had done it right the first time. had to change one of the sim cards, it did not work even though the provider said it would. thank anyways

Hi Everyone,
I'm currently using a Zelio Logic smart relay (SR2B201BD) with a GSM Modem and communications interface. I was wondering when I try txting the relay, do you have to txt an output to come on e.g Q1, or can you txt a memory for example?

Hi,
I have the following hardware:
SR3B261BD SR2COM01 SR2CBL07 M1306B
The Modem M1306B is not from Schneider but the same model. I am able to communicate from the PC to this wavecomm modem and send SMS but when i connect it to the Zelio setup I am unable to communicate. I have already done the baud settings.
Can somebody help me with the correct cable requirements (pin out if possible) and any other settings to make the communication?
