hi am rohit working on compact logix L32E i have to work on modbus but i have not experience on modbus protocol please any body guide me how to develop modbus list i have used AIC card of Allen bradlley for modbus protocol send any pdf that can help me please please it to urgent please

You should tell us your problem. What are you trying to get to talk? 485, 232, 422, or Ethernet?

Modbus RTU protocol can be implemented in the CompactLogix controllers using standalone gateway devices, backplane modules, or using ladder logic and the serial port of the controller.

The example routines for using the serial port are described in this Application Note:

And the example routines themselves are installed along with RSLogix 5000 in the Sample Programs directory, usually in a folder like "C:\RSLogix 5000\Projects\Samples\ENU\v18\Rockwell Automation"

All of the example code is usable and functional but it is not suitable for a user with no Modbus experience.

If you are unfamiliar with Modbus I very strongly recommend that you use an external gateway device from Prosoft or HMS Fieldbus, or a chassis-mounted interface like the Prosoft 1769-MCM.
