I would like to setup network triggering for a Cognex 5400 camera with firmware v3.3 and a ML1100 PLC. In order to do that, the CMD Byte needs to be set to 100, but I can't figure out how to be able to read/write to the CMD byte memory address.

I also need to be able to use the MSG instruction in the PLC to write to the COS byte to trigger the camera. In the MSG instruction under target device, I'm writing to N7:2 (which should be the COS byte in the camera memory), I get the data into the cognex camera memory no problem, but it doesn't seem to be in the COS byte.

Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?
