I have a SLC 150 on a machine I need to get into and your info on using the DOSBOX sounds great! I downloaded everything I will need. Anybody have a diagram on what cable config. to use? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanx!👨🏻‍🏫

Allen-Bradley 1745-PCC. It is more than a cable, it is also a signal converter.
or one of the replicas found here:

About 1/4 of the way down that webpage, look for PCC-7 or PCC-12. The owner of that site is a regular member here with a great reputation. I don't remember if the electrical signal at the SLC100/150 is RS-485 or RS-422, but it is not RS-232, so some sort of conversion is required.

OkiePC and GeniusTraining, Thanks guys, that is just what the doctor ordered! I need to spend more time on this site as I am more "old" school PLC and did PLC and skilled trades training for 15 years. I have a basement full of PLC hardware from this, anybody need any older Mitsubishi? Thanx again!👨🏻‍🏫

pen out 1745-pcc

I have re-read your post and have tried to figure out exactly what you need to do. I would suggest clicking on some of the links shown earlier in the thread as they have pin-out info.
See this thread for a start:

If you in fact do have a 1745-PCC cable and are wondering how to use it, you will need an old computer with a DB25 serial port or use a DB25 to DB9 adapter for computers that only have a DB9 serial port. If you are using a newer computer then I would still suggest you buy a cable designed for a USB port which is item #5 on this page I posted earlier today.
