Micrologix 1200 and 6"Panelview Operation Question

Hi I've got a AB Micrologix 1200 and 6" C600 Panelview. I'm wondering if I have a tag on the touchscreen setup to set N7:0 to "1" and in my main ladder program I have a couple rungs that have the condition of EQU N7:0 to 1. When the touchscreen sets the integer N7:0, will this happen AFTER a program scan has finished and before the next program scan begins? Or does it just happen immediately?

Basically, I'm wondering if the PLC may miss some higher up rungs if the integer happened to be set in mid program scan?

It should happen between scans on the Micrologix. But, if you want to be REALLY SURE then write it to a different register and do a MOV from the HMI controlled register to the working one at the top of the scan.
