Dear friends,
It takes a lot of time to load each and every button in this Proface GP4301 -TM screen.Every page takes few minuted to load.Communication cable and settings are fine. But still it takes a lot of time. Some one help me to fix this up.Thanks

check the comm port setting the default is 9600
you should be able to run it at or above 38400
maybe even 115 kb
I assume you are using the PLC to change the screen

Thanks for you reply.
1. I use both "Change screen " switch in HMI as well as PLC to change a screen.
2Switches which I use in the screen are with lamp feature.
3.The baud rate set in the communication settings is 9600.
4. In system area settings in HMI , I enabled only change screen settings (address D008).
Do u find any discrepancies in the above settings?

the 9600 is very slow for the HMI.
it is the default speed for both PLC Comms ports.
this is considered the safe comms speed.
Most of the time you increase the comms speed before you stert programming.
you need to change DIP sw 4 or 5 - cant remember which.
(I am thinking both)
then setup your comms for 19.2 kb (min usual) speed.
you can also setup the two ports for faster speeds.
The HMI will also need to be programmed to same Higher speed

this will bring everything up to speed.

try it at 38200 - even better
but remember to change the PLC Port also.
I think 115 kb is too fast - not sure (cant remember)
