If you have 505 Workshop, Its even easier.

I have 7.1soft and can't download the program from my laptop to the 545 am connected to it but can't figure how to install program

Uh, not sure about the install of the software, I have a zip file of it that I just unzip and run from. If you have the floppies, you'll need to run INSTALL from the 1st one out of a dos prompt.

If you are connected, I think, you need hit space bar, that toggles the function keys, and then F6, then I forget exactly which option. But there is one to load the program to PLC.

Thank you all for the info as I used the link for the software manual that I never had before from u I was able to solve the problem.
